October 6, 2025
Dear Eddie Miller Memorial Foundation golfers and supporters. Please accept our apologies for not reaching out to you sooner. Recently, the EMMF Board convened at the request of the Miller family to discuss the 2025 Golf Outing and the future of the Foundation.
After thoughtful consideration, and at the Miller family request, we have decided to conclude the Eddie Miller Memorial Foundation as well as the annual Golf Outing.
Over the past 11 years, the Foundation has made remarkable strides in promoting mental health awareness and suicide prevention. None of this would have been possible without your unwavering support, prayers, and generosity. We are deeply grateful, and words cannot fully express our heartfelt appreciation.
We are immensely proud of your support through the years, and it is a testament to the power of community and compassion in helping those affected by mental health challenges. Because of your dedication and support the EMMF will have donated $200,000 to our partners at Life Act, Project Drew, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and Cornerstone of Hope. That is amazing!!!
As we reflect on the journey of the Foundation, we are humbled by the impact made together as a community. Your commitment has impacted a considerable number of individuals and provided support to those experiencing challenging circumstances. While the Foundation's chapter is closing, the spirit of compassion and advocacy that you have championed will continue to inspire others for years to come.
Once again, we extend our sincerest thanks for everything you have done. Although it is time for us to step away, we hope you understand our decision.
With gratitude,
Ed, Jenny, Pat and Tina Miller, Matt Dykas, Alex Joyce, Kelly Kettren, Ralph Rosenberger Jr., Steve Rosenberger, Dan Stilphen

We want to welcome everyone to the home page of Eddie Miller Memorial Foundation! On behalf of the Foundation, its Board Members, Advisors, and the community committed to remembering Eddie and making a difference with Suicide Prevention, we thank you for visiting and wanting to be involved.
The summer of 2014, we received a phone call that no family member or friend ever dreams of receiving, our best friend Eddie Miller committed suicide after enduring a long battle with anxiety and depression. During his too brief time with us, Eddie was truly a selfless person whose love, passion, and loyalty left a lasting impression on those who knew him best. Eddie enjoyed cheering for his beloved Browns, Indians, Cavs, and Buckeyes and spending time with his friends and family.
In his honor, we started the Eddie Miller Memorial Foundation to help those that fight the same battle that Eddie did, along with their friends and family that help, support and cope. We have partnered with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (www.afsp.org), an organization that funds research, creates educational programs, advocates for public policy, and supports survivors of suicide loss. They set a bold goal to reduce the annual suicide rate 20% by 2025, providing a sustained, significant investment in research, education, and advocacy. Beyond partnering with AFSP, we will increase advocacy by supporting local suicide prevention in the Cleveland area, through volunteer work and creating awareness for a topic that has historically not been in front of families and households.
Our mission, purpose and bylaws can be found posted here on the website. Eddie Miller Memorial Foundation, in a general way, has the goal of hosting fundraisers that are centered on raising money for suicide prevention in Eddie’s honor.
Sincerely,
Board of Directors - Eddie Miller Memorial Foundation
